Hökensås's quiet, peace and tranquillity is sought by many. The region is found lying to the west of Lake Vättern, amongst a vast expanse of peaceful seclusion. Walking through the forests of pine and fir you will easily see elk, deer, foxes and hares. The region's native beauty once carved by geological times millions of years since passed. Its Nature, aura and open atmosphere are reminiscent only to that of the far North of Sweden, and perhaps even beyond this, in the plentiful extent of the berries, foliage and other wildlife. Within Hökensås's hilly terrain lie over fifty lakes and waterways in the valleys of this breathtaking scenery, a legacy formed from the last ice age.
