There are ferries, trains and airplanes to take you to your fishing paradise. And roads \u2013 why not take your own car? The road network is well developed with high standard roads throughout the country. Take your time, look around and who knows what you\u2019ll see \u2013 perhaps even a moose!<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-40f4f08e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"40f4f08e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Travel With  Class<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5d98bfe3 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5d98bfe3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Many airlines have cut their prices and introduced new travel classes to meet the competition. Thus travelling to Sweden is not only easier, it\u2019s less expensive, regardless of where in the world you start out. In co-operation with the Star Alliance, SAS Scandinavian Airlines links many parts of the world directly to Sweden and operates connecting flights to major cities in Sweden via Stockholm. In addition there are a number of low-fare airlines operating at alternative airports near the big cities, providing an interesting alternative for anglers searching for a budget alternative.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-298302f1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"298302f1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Go by car?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-38690ad8 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"38690ad8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The opening of the \u00d6resund Bridge has made non-stop travel between mainland Europe and Sweden a reality. While both trains and cars take this route to Sweden, there are also a number of ferries running from Finland, the Baltic Countries, Poland, Germany and Denmark. So getting here is not a problem either!<\/p><p>If you travel with by car in Sweden early or late in the season, you are obligated to have winter tires (with or without studs) from December 1 to March 31. Starting in August 2007 a congestion tax in and out Stockholm is charged for Swedish-registered vehicles. In January 2013 congestion tax is planned for Swedish-registered vehicles driving into and out of central Gothenburg.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-497ae62 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"497ae62\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Don\u2019t drink and drive<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-661e25cf elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"661e25cf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Swedish laws concerning driving and drinking are very strict. The maximum amount of alcohol in the blood when driving is 0.02%. Our countryside is open to everyone, as long as you show consideration to other people, wildlife and the countryside. The few common-sense guidelines of the Right of Public Access apply to individuals, not to large groups or specially arranged tours. For anglers, it means that you can go freely to and from your fishing area, take your boat out on the water or moor on the shore \u2013 always provided that you have a valid fishing permit. The Right of Public Access does not cover fishing and hunting.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5520e59 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"5520e59\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Here are some of the main guidelines:<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cd29b40 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"cd29b40\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u2022 Don\u2019t leave litter in the countryside. This applies particularly to fishing lines, hooks, plastic bags, bottles, cans and glass, all of which can be dangerous for wild animals.<\/p><p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\u2022 You may not drive cars, caravans, motor homes, motorbikes or mopeds off-road or on private roads. Motor-vehicle traffic can cause severe wear on private roads and owners therefore have the right to ban such traffic. However, they can\u2019t stop people from walking, cycling or riding horses along their road unless they would damage it.<\/p><p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\u2022 You are generally allowed to walk, cycle or ride across other people\u2019s land provided that you don\u2019t get nearer than 60-70 metres to houses and that you don\u2019t walk over gardens or on cultivated land.<\/p><p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\u2022 You may not cut down trees or bushes, nor are you allowed to take nuts or resin, break branches or strip bark from trees. You may not disturb areas where animals live or to take birds\u2019 eggs. Picking mushrooms, wild berries and unprotected flowers is permitted.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2db01a7 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2db01a7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u2022 Fires are permitted, but not on rocky ground and never at times of year when fires are prohibited. Great care should always be taken when lighting fires in the countryside.<\/p><p>\u2022 You can put up a tent, but not on cultivated land or close to houses. Ask the landowner for permission if you want to stay in one place for more than a few days.<\/p><p>\u2022 It is permitted to travel in a boat on someone else\u2019s waters. You can moor your boat for a day, but you may not go ashore on privately owned land. Special conditions can limit travel and access in certain areas.<\/p><p>\u2022 Swedish citizens may fish without a licence in public waters. Foreign citizens may fish without a licence in those waters as long as they use hand gear.<\/p><p>\u2022 Sport fishing without a licence is also allowed certain private waters along the coastline and in Sweden\u2019s five largest lakes \u2013 Lakes V\u00e4nern, V\u00e4ttern, M\u00e4laren, Hj\u00e4lmaren and Storsj\u00f6n (in J\u00e4mtland).
